Ant-Man 3: Quantumania Upcoming Movie, Photos Viral

New photos confirmed that reshoots are still being done on Ant-Man 3 and the Wasp: Quantumania for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The studio doesn’t “lock anything in until it’s going to the theatres,” so additional photography is a “given” for all MCU films.

This is not a VFX shot, and the reshoots aren’t happening months before the film’s release.

Instead, they occur just weeks before Ant-Man hits theatres.

How About That Third Ant-Man Movie?

New photos show Paul Rudd on set of the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania sequel, even though the film is scheduled for release on February 17.

To shoot additional scenes so close to the film’s release is unprecedented, and even more so considering that Ant-Man 3 needs to be finished by early February for early screenings.

They took pickup shots on January 6 in Los Angeles and appear to have been for scenes already featured in promotional materials for Quantumania.

One such image features Rudd in front of Bridge Donuts, the same bakery featured in the film’s promotional materials. When he leaves the store, he’s still dressed the same:

Does It Look Like Quantomania Will Fail?

In retrospect, it’s clear that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania would be a landmark movie.

The film does more than delve into the Quantum Realm; it also kicks off Phase 5 of the MCU and introduces Kang the Conqueror.

However, the film Ant-Man 3 may be under extra pressure because of fan complaints about Phase 4, which would explain why it’s so close to the deadline.

However, since these retakes appear from the film’s opening comedic scenes, they could easily result from a continuity error.

It will be exciting to hear from the cast and crew of the threequel in the coming weeks, especially if more reshoot news makes its way online.
