The government of Haryana has announced a new 12-point electric vehicle policy that incentivizes people who buy hybrid cars.
As the demand for electric vehicles (EVs) rises, states are changing their EV policies, and a new one is currently being written in Haryana. Anand Mohan Sharan, the Additional Chief Secretary of Industries and Commerce, said that the Haryana government had told people about its new electric vehicles policy, which now has 12 programs. He also said, “The policy’s goal is to encourage the state to make electric vehicles and their parts.” The new policy will not only make it easier for people to buy EVs, but it will also get research and development going in this area.

In addition to improving the infrastructure, the policy includes ways to lower the initial cost of electric vehicles. This way, incentives will also be given to people who buy Hybrid EVs.
Sharan said that the Industries and Commerce Department had approved the Haryana Electrics-Vehicle Policy-2022. He said that 12 schemes had been made live on the Viral News website so people could use them.
He said that the Electric-Vehicle Policy has 12 schemes to encourage people to buy electric cars. These include buyer incentives, charging and battery swapping station schemes, net SGST reimbursement schemes, capital subsidy schemes, employment generation subsidy schemes, and so on.
