Nominations for the 95th Annual Academy Awards will be unveiled on Thursday, January 24th. The shows RRR and Chhello Show are among those that have been shortlisted for Oscars 2023. A total of 15 songs were considered for the Best Original Song award. But only Naatu Naatu cut.

One of the final nominees for the Oscars 2023 is Two Indian films starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan Teja. They have been nominated for the 95th Academy Awards: the period action film RRR and the Pan Nalin-directed comedy Chhello Show or Last Film Show. Best Original Song nominees include RRR, or Rise Roar, or Revolt. And Roudhram Ranam Rudhiram for their catchy tune “Naatu Naatu.”

Fifteen foreign features from 92 nations were chosen, including those from Belgium (Close), South Korea (Decision to Leave), Germany (All Quiet on the Western Front), Pakistan (Joyland), and Mexico (Bardo).

According to the Oscars 2023 website, “Academy members from all branches were invited to participate in the preliminary round of voting. And must have satisfied a minimum watching criterion to be allowed to vote in the category. In this nomination process, all Academy members are encouraged to participate. And they must watch all 15 films on the shortlist before casting a ballot.

The nominees for the Oscars in 10 categories for 2023 have been announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences: best documentary, best animated short, best international feature, best original song, best documentary short subject, best original score, best live-action short, and the best sound and visual effects. The nominees will be up for voting from January 12-14, with the winners being announced on January 24.

On March 12, 2019, the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, will host the 95th Annual Academy Awards.
