A girl from Pune is said to have been raped by her father, grandpa, and uncle over six years;

According to the police, the father has been detained, and a complaint has been filed following the provisions of sections 376 and 354 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Se**al Offenses Act, 2012 (POCSO Act).

The victim mentioned in her complaint that while visiting her hometown in Uttar Pradesh between 2016 and 2018, her uncle se**ally assaulted her and raped her many times. She also claimed that her grandpa abused her.
“After the girl moved to Pune in 2018, she wrote on a piece of paper to tell her father about the instances of se**al assault that she had experienced. On several instances, however, while her mother was not there in the house, her father engaged in sexual activity with her without taking any action to protect her from her abusers, ” the officer of the law.
During a committee meeting established under the Vishaka guidelines on Wednesday, the girl disclosed to the authorities that she had been raped and sexually assaulted by her father, grandfather, and uncle over the previous six years. She said that they had done this to her. “The college administration promptly attended the police station and a case was lodged,” stated the senior inspector in charge of the police station where the complaint was recorded.

The authorities have said they will arrest the girl’s family members in their hometown. Counseling services are also made available to the girl.
