When are the World Cup games today? Schedule, start times, and quarter-final games.

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar started on November 20, and 32 teams are trying to get to the final on December 18 and win the world champion title.

The tournament is the first time they have held it in the Arab world. It is also only the second time we have kept it in Asia. In 2002, the tournament was held in both Japan and South Korea. This will be the last time that there are only 32 teams. Starting in 2026, the match will grow to include 48 teams.

Winners in the past, France, is one favorite, but no team has won the World Cup back-to-back since Brazil in 1962. England, Spain, and the Netherlands are also among the favorites. Brazil and Argentina are in the round of 16, and Senegal could be Africa’s best chance to win for the first time.

In Group B, England played Wales, which won the play-off, and the USA advanced with them. Germany didn’t make it because I put them in Group E with Spain, Japan, and Costa Rica, which looked like a tough group. Portugal and South Korea made it out of Group H ahead of Ghana and Uruguay.

Hosts Qatar’s first game was against Ecuador; then, they played Senegal and the Netherlands. The Netherlands and Senegal were supposed to be the first games of the 2022 World Cup, but Qatar’s game was moved up a day. Because it gets too hot in the Gulf state of Qatar in the summer, the Qatar World Cup will be the first in winter instead of summer.
